20 photos to prove South Korea is a must-go destination
South Korea will probably be for a while one of my top countries to visit. It was my first Asian country to visit and definitely one of the most vibrants I’ve ever been to. There’s always things to do, many coffee shops, restaurants, karaoke places, arcades, shops and the list goes on and on.
But what really made me fall for South Korea was how friendly Koreans are, one day when I was taking the subway in Seoul and as expected I got lost (I’m that person who will always get lost, even with a GPS I WILL get lost) and asked directions to a random commuter who pulled his phone and was looking on the map the best route for me and not only that, he even took me downstairs to show me the right platform the train was leaving from, my jaw went through the floor and there I was trying to pick it back up and at the same time thanking the guy for being so helpful. Or another instance when I was with a couple of friends strolling around a beach town and some Koreans having food at a restaurant saw us walking and invited us over to their table.
South Korea is not expensive either, everything is priced accordingly and you can have a good time not spending much, transportation is cheap too not too mention efficient. I really can’t wait to go back.

Like other Asian languages Korean is a hard language to understand but Koreans are so helpful and friendly that language barrier is pretty much non-existent when travelling in South Korea.
I think many people still have that feeling language barrier is a deal breaker when travelling but I think otherwise, that’s what enhances your travelling experience and it proves that language barrier is as a matter of fact something we make up in our own heads.
I didn’t use to travel much but once I started, I just can’t stop travelling. On Can I Pack? I try to share how I make my travels work out because travelling shouldn’t be hard.
