Cypress Mountain

Best thing during winter around Vancouver has got to be the mountains on the outskirts of the city. They’re just an hour or so away and getting them is just so easy. I’m not that guy that you’ll see killing on the slopes but I do enjoy the scenery and just wandering around. This time around I went to Cypress Mountain.

There are paid buses leaving downtown that left us right at the entrance of Cypress Mountain. From there you can rent the gear for whatever activity you’ll do if you don’t already have any.

Cypress Mountain is bigger if compared to Grouse Mountain, which attracts more skiers and snowboarders. Since I don’t ski I came for the snowshoeing. They have a couple of trails you can do which are super easy to follow and not physically demanding.

I didn’t use to travel much but once I started, I just can’t stop travelling. On Can I Pack? I try to share how I make my travels work out because travelling shouldn’t be hard.
