International dinner parties
Besides all the beauty, safety, how awesome Canadians are and so on (I’m very bias when it comes to Canada) one of the best things in Vancouver is how multicultural it is, and I love that!
You get to hear so many different languages on the streets and so many different accents and it’s so gratifying to see all these cultures completely different from each other getting along so well and respecting everyone. Ok, I’ll stop before it gets too modeling, but I’m one of those who loves meeting people from different countries for cultural exchange, friendships and of course the amazing food. A few nights we would have in the apartment (which I shared with a german guy and a Japanese girl) friends come and cook a dish from their home countries, which were very good dishes. We had a good group of Korean friends and their food was amazing, there was always something new to try and everything was really flavorful.
I didn’t use to travel much but once I started, I just can’t stop travelling. On Can I Pack? I try to share how I make my travels work out because travelling shouldn’t be hard.
