Garibaldi Provincial Park
The Garibaldi Lake, which is part of the Garibaldi Provincial Park, is one of the MANY lakes in Canada, about 30km from Squamish.
I was never much into nature before leaving home, i don’t need a 5-star accommodation when I’m sleeping somewhere else but camping had never really appealed to me. That all changed.
Some friends and I went for a weekend of camping around the Garibaldi Lake since there are campgrounds in the area and the views speak for themselves. We had actually a good time and I can’t say we had any trouble assembling the tent or making food, it was definitely a good time.
On our last day we decided to hike up towards the Black Tusk. It was about a 3 hour hike which can take a lot less depending how much of a good hiker you are. I am definitely not a hiking person but being down there at the campground staring at the Black Tusk I felt it was something it had to be done.
I didn’t use to travel much but once I started, I just can’t stop travelling. On Can I Pack? I try to share how I make my travels work out because travelling shouldn’t be hard.
