Vancouver Aquarium
I was never a big fan of museums, aquariums or any attraction that in general there’s not much interaction other than staring. The Vancouver Aquarium definitely changed my view on aquariums.
It’s located right inside Stanley Park downtown Vancouver, the aquarium has a few activities and animal shows such as the belugas or dolphins show that is wise to arrive a few minutes earlier before it starts because it does get busy. There’s also a pretty cool 4D movie theatre. I spent a few hours in there and had always something to see or do.
The Vancouver Aquarium is a non-profit conservation organization besides having some animal care programs such as Marine Mammal Rescue Centre, Marine Mammal Research, Ocean Pollution Research, Ocean Wise™, Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup™.
The service from the entire staff is superb and the entire place is really well maintained.
And how could I forget being from a tropical country about the Tropic Zone? The Vancouver Aquarium created a zone which shows what being at a tropical environment feels like. Humid, hot and what the aquatic and terrestrial life in the Amazon have to show.
I didn’t use to travel much but once I started, I just can’t stop travelling. On Can I Pack? I try to share how I make my travels work out because travelling shouldn’t be hard.
