Victoria
Some friends and I decided to spend the weekend heading to Vancouver Island to the city of Victoria.
The trip to Victoria is fairly simple, a bus takes you to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and from there you take a 3-hour ferry to Swartz Bay, which is still not in Victoria but from from there a couple of buses leave towards Victoria.

The parliament building
The parliament is one of the most famous spots in Victoria, right besides the Museum of British Columbia, which has a cool iMax theatre and it shows how B.C. became B.C. throughout history. I’m not a big fan of museums but those sets that were made to portray Vancouver back in a day were on point. I spent a good couple of hours there roaming around.
Victoria is the capital of British Columbia, it has got a pretty good size so moving around is not a problem if you’re only looking to stay in the centre and visit the most famous sights, which was what we did. Basically entertainment is all along Douglas St, a long strip with restaurants, stores and so.
I didn’t use to travel much but once I started, I just can’t stop travelling. On Can I Pack? I try to share how I make my travels work out because travelling shouldn’t be hard.
